Biography

Penny Rogers, DHA, MAT, OTR/L, CEAS I is an associate professor in UMMC’s School of Health Related Professions OTD Program. Rogers enjoys working in the community delivering the UMMC Community Health Advocacy Training. Community Practice is a favorite area of expertise. Rogers has actively advised research groups for the past five years. Qualitative and quantitative data are important to Rogers to enhance entry level performance of the OT practitioner. For the past three years, Rogers has served as the OTD Capstone Coordinator and insures placement of OTD students in settings to complete a 14-week capstone experience with a capstone project to be presented at the end of the experience.
