Quick Reference: Un-Enroll Authenticator App
DO NOT COMPLETE THIS STEP PRIOR TO SETTING UP A NEW PHONE. THIS SHOULD BE THE LAST STEP IN THE PROCESS OF REPLACING AN OLD PHONE WITH A NEW ONE.
Before you get rid of your old mobile device with Authenticator on it, you will need to unenroll the device through the steps below ANDdelete the mobile app from the device. This will make sure Microsoft does not continue to send sign-in requests to it.
Un-Enroll
On your computer, type https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info in a browser such as Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Select your account OR click Use Another Account to sign in with your UMMC email.
The approve sign-in request window may appear on your computer screen before going to the next step. If so, verify your account before proceeding.
When you get to your account page, make sure that you are on the Security Info page. You can click Security Info on the left-hand menu to get there. Next, locate the device you want to un-enroll from the list and click Delete on the far-right.
Your device should now be removed from your account.
If you are experiencing issues with Microsoft Authenticator, please contact our Help Desk at (601) 984-1145.
