At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

Identify prevention, early detection and the science of cancer.
Recognize treatment and system management strategies for patients with a cancer diagnosis.
Identify quality-of-life issues related to a cancer diagnosis.
Identify professional practice standards for oncology nursing.
Apply the OCN® exam blueprint and test-taking strategies to prepare for the certification exam.
