Biography: Dr. Shreyas Gangadhara is a board-certified neurologist specializing in stroke and cerebrovascular diseases. He serves as Vice Chair for Clinical Operations and Division Chief for Vascular Neurology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC). Additionally, he directs UMMC’s Telestroke Program and leads both the Neurology Residency and Vascular Neurology Fellowship programs.
Dr. Gangadhara earned his medical degree from Mysore Medical College in India, followed by a Neurology Residency and Vascular Neurology Fellowship at the University of South Florida. He also holds a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation from UMMC, where he developed expertise in stroke care optimization, teleneurology, and quality improvement initiatives.
He is committed to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care and has authored numerous research publications. Dr. Gangadhara is actively involved in medical education, stroke advocacy, and advancing patient outcomes through collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
