Biography: After completing my anesthesia residency at UMMC in 1988, I joined a private practice group developed the curriculum and guidelines to improve the patient care grown as a good clinician and leader in anesthesia. Later I became of director of anesthesiology for the private group. I came to UMMC in 2017, because I always have passion for teaching and training the future physicians. In the last my 8 years at UMMC, I really enjoyed my clinical duties as director of PACU, Resident transition to practice, member of multiple committees (CCC, PEC, and Financial Committees) and improved the patient care at UMMC
My Approach to Healthcare
Having been a patient before I can relate to the anxieties, frustrations, loss of control, fear, and concern for what the future may be. As your provider I help navigate these feelings. I am reassuring and confident in my interaction with you. I am honest but tender and sincere in addressing your concerns and fears. I am obsessive in doing the right thing for you and your love ones. I involve the families when appropriate and help calm the fears. I am communicative with my anesthesia team, surgeons, ancillary staff and always try to provide better care for my patients.
