Biography: I grew up in Jackson, MS. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi in 2006 Summa Cum Laude and then graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical School in 2010. I completed residency and fellowship training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (2010-2014) and Arkansas Children's Hospital (2014-2015). I am currently an associate professor in the department of Anesthesiology here at UMMC and work full-time as a pediatric anesthesiologist. I am married to Dr. Hess Robertson, who is a critical care anesthesiologist in the surgical intensive care unit at UMMC. We have two daughters, Lucy and Louise.
