Biography: Leslie Tynes, NP, is a board certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center who is a nurse practitioner in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, Mississippi. She completed her Bachelor of science degree in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, Mississippi and Master of science degree as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama, Mobile, Alabama. She has also completed a Registered Nurse First Assist certification where she has operative experience in cranial and spinal surgery. Her clinical background is in Emergency Medicine, Trauma, Neurosurgery, Cardiology and Neurology. She is a member of the Neuro Critical Care Society.
