Biography: J. Mason Shiflett, M.D. is board-certified and fellowship-trained in pediatric neurosurgery. A native of Arlington, TX, Dr. Shiflett received his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. After residency, he went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Dr. Shiflett is specifically trained in modern, advanced procedures for epilepsy diagnosis and treatment in adults and children. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
