Biography: Brook Schaefer is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been working within the Department of Neurology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center since 2016. She currently serves as the inpatient nurse practitioner for the Vascular Neurology service.
Brook received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2008 from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She later received her Master of Science in Nursing in 2011 from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She is board-certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Prior to her career in Neurology, Brook cared for patients in both the critical care and pain management settings. She has been a member of the American Academy of Neurology, and she currently serves on multiple committees within the UMMC Healthcare System.
