Biography: Dr. Praise Matemavi received her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010 and then went on to complete an osteopathic surgical internship at Sinai Hospital -Detroit Medical Center in 2011. She then went to New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital - Weill Cornell were she completed her general surgery training in 2017. In 2019 she completed an abdominal transplant and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
