My Approach to Healthcare
A visit to the emergency room is often a scary and vulnerable time for sick patients and their families. I approach each patient encounter as unique, formulating a treatment and care plan tailored to their situation and hopefully make a scary situation a little less intimidating.
This sometimes involves addressing not only their medical concerns but also their social and emotional needs as well. Being able to help people during a difficult time is why I chose Emergency Medicine. Even when I don't have all of the answers, I'm committed to giving each patient high quality, evidence based medical care.
