Biography: Jennifer Lewis is an advanced practice nurse who has been working in Neurosurgery as a Nurse Practitioner since 2013. She began her nursing career in 1999 when she graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Lewis worked at Mississippi State Hospital early in her career. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2009. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, gardening, and hunting/fishing.
My Approach to Healthcare
As a Nurse Practitioner with UMMC Neurosurgery, I see patients at a very vulnerable and scary time in their lives. I hope to provide them with a level of care that eases their stress and in turn, helps their recovery. I focus on disease prevention, wellness, and education in my practice.
