Biography: Born, raised and educated in the Jackson area. Married and live with my wife Rachel, my son Gunner, and daughter Stevie in Madison. First-generation physician. Medical School at UMMC, residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Residency Program Director of Emergency Medicine. I love working with medical students and residents, and my educational interests include board exam preparation, patient satisfaction, curriculum and instructional design, and bedside teaching. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, tasting and collecting wine, and staying active in the gym.
