As a practicing physician for the past 12 years, I have always endeavored to bring empathy to my patients, along with the competency that they expect! Surgery can be stressful and a trying experience, and I feel connecting with patients greatly helps them through that. Accordingly, I bring over a decade experience as a private practitioner, now transitioned to the university. I aim to be active in resident and medical student education, as well as on the hunt for quality improvement initiatives. My aim is to serve the UMC community on committees as they become available and become a positive voice for the campus.
