Biography: Hannah Ford, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist and serves as the training director for the UMMC Psychology Residency (Internship) Program. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology (Child focus) in 2015 from the University of Maine. She attended internship at Indiana University School of Medicine and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. She previously served as a pediatric psychologist in the Neurology and Pulmonology Divisions at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh before joining the faculty at UMMC in 2019. Dr. Ford's area of specialty is pediatric psychology and her clinical and research interests include working with children and adolescents with chronic medical concerns, particularly chronic pain, Cystic Fibrosis, and sleep difficulties. Dr. Ford has served as PI or Co-I on several grants related to integrating behavioral health into medical settings and supporting training in behavioral health services.
