She received her medical degree from UMMC School of Medicine and completed residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She serves as Vice Chair of Faculty Affairs for the Department of Medicine and as an Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. She is passionate about caring for Mississippians and training future physicians.
