Biography
Dr. Chelsea Stephens, assistant professor of Radiologic Sciences, received the Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences degree in 2013 and earned the Certificate of Nuclear Medicine Technology in 2014, both from UMMC. She worked clinically as a nuclear medicine technologist before becoming faculty at UMMC in 2017. In 2019, Dr. Stephens was appointed as Clinical Coordinator of the Nuclear Medicine Technology program, and in 2021, assumed an additional role as Program Director. She graduated with a Master of Health Sciences degree in May 2020, and a Doctor of Education with an emphasis in Higher Education in May 2023, both from the University of Mississippi. She is an ARRT Registered Technologist in Radiography and Nuclear Medicine and an NMTCB Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
