Biography
Dr. Edgerton, professor of Radiologic Sciences, graduated from Meridian Community College with an Associate of Science is Radiologic Technology. She then earned a Bachelor of Science from William Carey University. In 1992, Dr. Edgerton became registered in mammography. She received a Master of Business Administration degree from Mississippi State University in 2006 and a Doctor of Health Administration degree from the University of Mississippi in 2015. Dr. Edgerton worked as a radiographer and mammographer prior to becoming a radiologic sciences educator in 2002. She has served as Clinical Coordinator for UMMC School of Health Related Professions Radiologic Sciences Department since 2010.
