Biography
Dr. Hanna Broome is a Mississippi native whose career has focused on graduate education, student success, and program excellence for over 15 years. A graduate of Mississippi College and the University of Mississippi Medical Center, she has served in multiple leadership roles, including Director of the MS in Biomedical Sciences program, Director of the MD-PhD Dual Degree program, Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Recruitment, and Chief Student Affairs Officer. Dr. Broome currently leads initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the Mississippi Center for Clinical and Translational Research, serving institutions across Mississippi. Her work emphasizes strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, data-driven decision-making, and systems improvement, including implementation of the PieStar data platform to strengthen collaboration, outcomes tracking, and resource utilization statewide.
