Biography
I received my medical degree after four years of medical school at the Kunming Medical College and one year clinical practice at the First Teaching Hospital of the Kunming Medical College.
From March to July, 1985, I completed the National Medical Information Training Class sponsored by the National Education Commission and National Health Department. In 1995, I received a Masters in library and information science.
For years, I have been involved with many scholarly activities, closely working with our principal investigators and collaborating with faculty members in the anatomy department on research and textbook publishing. I would like to expand our services to support basic health science research, translational research and clinical trial studies to enhance scholarly communication, and promote the health of Mississippians.
I am interested in teaching gross anatomy, neuroanatomy and histology in clinical anatomy. My medical education, knowledge of health sciences resources and of the trends of health science education will enable me to explore possibilities to integrate various technologies for medical and anatomical education.
