Biography
I graduated from medical school in 2011. Thereafter, I completed an internship in General Surgery from St Joseph Mercy Oakland in Detroit, Michigan and a residency in Diagnostic Radiology from Saint Francis Hospital in Chicago, Illinois in 2018. I subsequently underwent fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at University of Miami in 2019. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor of Interventional Radiology at the UMMC. I take great pleasure in working in the field of interventional radiology, and I am particularly passionate about the procedures that I perform, which include prostate artery embolization (PAE) for the treatment of BPH, TIPS/BRTO in the setting of portal hypertension, Vertebral augmentation, Uterine fibroid embolization for symptomatic fibroids, and all aspects of interventional oncology including (TACE,Y90 and tumor ablations).

| Prostate artery embolization service line, I pioneered the introduction of Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE) as a treatment option for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). When we began offering this procedure at UMMC in March 2020, it became the only facility in Mississippi to provide PAE.
