Biography
Dr. Joshua A. Trull is an assistant professor of psychiatry and human behavior at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Dr. Trull graduated from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia, in 2019. He completed his residency in adult psychiatry at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2023.
He gained further leadership experience as the chief resident and chief ambassador in the Adult Psychiatry Residency Program and as a member of the program’s Evaluation Committee. He served for a year as a member of the program’s Mentorship Workgroup. He has also served as member of the UMMC Office of Diversity and Inclusion's DEI Think Tank.
Trull has several research publications and presentations to his credit. He is a member of Sigma Sigma Phi, the national osteopathic medicine honors fraternity, and several professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association and the American Psychiatric Association.
