Biography

Dr. Kevin Sullivan is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Geriatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, which he joined in 2019. He received his PhD in Psychological Sciences from the University of Maine, and completed a T32 Epidemiology of Aging post-doctoral fellowship and Master of Public Health degree at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health and Center for Aging and Population Health. He currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Neuroepidemiology Research Core at The Memory Impairment and Neurodegenerative Dementia (MIND) Center. Dr. Sullivan is a psychiatric epidemiologist specializing in aging and cognitive function. His research involves the study of risk factors and biomarkers of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias in the ARIC Study and MIND Center-Mayo Clinic Study of Aging. He has authored over 30 peer-reviewed manuscripts, presented research at over 35 national and local scientific meetings, and is an active member of the Gerontological Society of America and the Alzheimer’s Association.
