Biography
Chelsea Stephens, EdD, RT(R)(N)(ARRT), CNMT, assumed the role of Director of Assessment in the Office of the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs in September of 2024. She is responsible for monitoring, measuring, and communicating broadly the institution's effectiveness toward meeting academic and administrative goals. She is also currently an assistant professor for the Department of Radiologic Sciences in the School of Health Related Profession (SHRP). Dr. Stephens is an ARRT Registered Technologist in Radiography and Nuclear Medicine and an NMTCB Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist who formerly served as the Program Director and Clinical Coordinator for the Master of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology program at SHRP for over 3 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences degree in 2013, Certificate of Nuclear Medicine Technology in 2014, and Master of Health Sciences degree in May 2020, all from UMMC. Additionally, she received her Doctor of Education degree with an emphasis in Higher Education in May 2023 from the University of Mississippi.
