Biography

Dr. Slade is an advanced practice nurse with 3 decades of healthcare experience caring for the people living and working in Mississippi. As an APRN she is driven to promote the best possible health outcomes by incorporating health education. As a nurse scientist, she is focused on determining avenues of health promotion in ways to increase the overall health outcomes for Mississippians and those working to care for them.
She is also actively involved with state and national professional organizations. Her motivation for this service is to contribute to policies that ultimately impact Mississippians and those healthcare providers living and working in this state.
