Biography
Billy Mink is a native of Mississippi who graduated from Mississippi State University then attended Univ of Mississippi Medical School. After completing a Pediatric residency at UMMC, he joined a pediatric practice in Jackson, MS where he enjoyed 10 years of caring for children of all ages. He took advantage of the opportunity to return to the medical center in 2002 to care for newborn infants. He loves caring for infants, teaching and training residents and medical students. He is currently director of the newborn nursery where he practices newborn care and teaches and trains fellows, residents, and medical students. When not at the hospital, he enjoys exercising, flyfishing, playing golf, running, and time with his family. He also takes time to mentor young men.
