Biography
Dr. Muki Kadochi is a Pediatric Cardiologist and an Assistant Professor of
Pediatrics-Cardiology in the School of Medicine at The University of Mississippi Medical Center under the Children’s of Mississippi Hospital.
She completed medical school at the University of Zambia in Lusaka Zambia (2008). She completed her Residency training in Pediatrics at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo Michigan, after which she did her Pediatric Cardiology fellowship training at Louisiana State University in New Orleans Louisiana.
Dr. Kadochi worked as a General Practitioner in Zambia, in Pediatrics, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology and Internal Medicine, before transitioning to the US, giving her a wholistic and broad approach to patient care. She currently enjoys providing her expertise in the treatment of heart problems in children, adolescents and young adults in the under-served areas of Mississippi. Dr Kadochi is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (Section of Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery), Zambia Medical Association and Zambia Pediatric Association. In her free time, Dr. Kadochi enjoys church evangelistic activities, live music and ballroom and salsa dancing, cooking and spending time with family and friends. Dr Kadochi also participates in various community volunteer activities. She is passionate about educating the next generation of healthcare providers, though lectures and mentorship programs.
