Biography
Dr. Rohan Jagtap is a Director and Assistant professor of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in the Department of Care Planning and Restorative Sciences. After receiving his B.D.S. from MGV's K.B.H. Dental College and Hospital, Nashik, India, in 2013, Jagtap served as an associate dentist at the Rutudent Dental Clinic and Research Center, Nashik. He received his Master's in Healthcare Administration from Midwestern State University, Wichita Falls, Texas, in 2018, and had his oral and maxillofacial radiology residency at the UF College of Dentistry from 2017-19. The author or co-author of 15 articles in peer-reviewed publications and 18 scientific abstracts and presentations, Dr. Jagtap has given several national and international invited speaker presentations. He has editorial board and reviewer positions for nine high-impact peer-reviewed journals. Service has been acutely demonstrated by Dr. Jagtap. He currently serving different committees nationally including but not limited to ADEA and AAOMR. He is a fellow of Pierre Fauchard Academy, Academy of Dentistry International, and American College of Dentists. He has recently completed the Excellent Teacher-Faculty Edition curriculum from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Dental Education Association, the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, and the Radiology Society of North America, among other professional organizations. Dr. Jagtap currently serves as our school's, and State's, sole Oral and Maxillofacial radiologist.
