Biography
Jennifer Hargett serves as an Associate Professor and the director of the Jackson Accelerated BSN program in the School of Nursing at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Mississippi University for Women in 2007, Master of Science in Nursing degree in nursing education from the UMMC School of Nursing in 2012, and Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2021.
Dr. Hargett is an American Heart Association instructor and a member of the Mississippi Nurses' Association and Sigma Theta Tau International. She holds two national nursing certifications as an Orthopaedic Nurse Certified (ONC®) and as a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE).
