Biography
I began my career in the Private practice setting in central Mississippi after receiving my BS in Dental Hygiene from UMMC. After a couple of years of practice I began my tenure at UMMC in 2003 working on a NIH grant under the Dept. of Perio/SOD. I continued to work in the SOD faculty practice. In 2008, I started caring for Head & Neck cancer and Oral Medicine patients and earned my Master's in Clinical Health Sciences. In July of 2010 I became full time faculty with the Dept. of Dental Hygiene/SHRP. In 2014, I earned my PhD from UMMC. I am fortunate to be able to participate in all the missions of UMMC; education, research, and healthcare.
