Biography
Dr. Laura Galarza is a board-eligible plastic surgeon offering a wide range of reconstructive and aesthetic procedures, with a particular passion for women’s health and aesthetic surgery.
Dr. Galarza grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, where she completed her undergraduate education at Emory University. She earned her medical degree from Wake Forest University in North Carolina and completed her Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. After six years of training and caring for Mississippi’s most vulnerable patients, she joined the UMMC faculty as an Associate Professor.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Galarza enjoys traveling, reading novels, watercolor painting, and spending time with her husband and son.
