Biography

Dr. Cynthia Field, a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician at The University of Mississippi Medical Center, started her medical career in nursing. After graduating from The University of Southern Mississippi with Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, Dr. Field went on to pursue a medical degree from The University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 1990. She subsequently completed her residency in 1993 and fellowship in 1996 at The University of Mississippi School of Medicine. At the Child Development Clinic, Dr. Field works to help children and adolescents with a large variety of behavioral and developmental issues. Dr. Field also serves as a physician for The University of Mississippi Medical Center’s newly created Center for Advancement of Youth (CAY Clinic). She enjoys helping families of children with developmental and behavioral needs find services, therapies, and support needed for them to lead happy, successful lives.
