Biography
Dr. Osasere Kelvin Ero, completed his pediatric cardiology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, and joined the Medical Center faculty as an assistant professor of pediatrics-cardiology in the School of Medicine.
After receiving his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Benin School of Medicine in Benin City, Edo, Nigeria, he was a house officer at Central Hospital in Benin City before his National Youth Service. Ero also served as an independent medical officer at Presbyterian Joint Hospital, Ekoli Edda, Ebonyi, Nigeria. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Mississippi Medical Center before his pediatric residency.
He has participated in several scientific presentations, including poster presentations and abstracts, and is the coauthor of several publications in professional journals. Ero has undertaken his own research and quality improvement projects.
His record of community service includes health education, mentorship, volunteer medical services and more. Ero is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American Academy of Pediatrics and American Heart Association.
