Biography

Pediatric Rheumatologist with training from Canada and India. Specialize in childhood SLE as a subspecialty within pediatric Rheumatology. Educational training and skills include completion of Masters program in Health professionals education from the University of Toronto, Canada, with special interest in curriculum development and innovation. Passionate about education in pediatric rheumatology for current medical students and residents and addressing workforce shortages in pediatric rheumatology in US. Research interests include clinical spectrum of childhood lupus, treatment and outcome variations in childhood lupus, socioeconomic outcomes in chronic rheumatologic illnesses and QI projects. Passions outside of work include fitness, weight lifting, kickboxing and spending time with my two beautiful puppies!
