Biography
Dr. Stephanie DePaepe, a dedicated emergency medicine physician, brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC). With a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, she embodies a commitment to excellence in both clinical practice and medical education. After completing residency training in emergency medicine at UMMC, she has assumed roles as an attending physician in both the Adult and Pediatric Emergency Medicine departments, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages.
Her impressive track record extends beyond clinical practice, encompassing a passion for medical education and mentorship. Recognized with the Trailblazer Award for Excellence in Medical Student Education, she has mentored numerous students, residents, and fellows, guiding them through the complexities of medicine with compassion and professionalism.
With certifications in Basic Medical Spanish, UMMC Diversity and Inclusion Champion & Professional Development, she exemplifies a commitment to providing culturally sensitive and comprehensive care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
