Biography

Allison Cruse, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Dermatology and Pathology. A graduate of the University of Mississippi and the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, she completed her preliminary year in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia. She completed Dermatology residency at the University of Mississippi in 2018, serving as Chief Resident in her final year, followed by a Dermatopathology fellowship. She is certified by the American Board of Dermatology in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. Dr. Cruse now serves as the Dermatology Residency Program Director. She has authored a textbook chapter on Photodynamic Therapy and has authored or co-authored over fifteen research publications in peer-reviewed journals. She has presented and served as moderator at the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting and was invited to present at the 61st Annual Noah Worcester Dermatological Society Meeting as the Resident/Fellow Lectureship Award Winner.
