Biography
John Criscuolo, DO, FAAP, is board-certified in pediatric cardiology. He is originally from New York City and received his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. He completed his pediatric residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Following his residency, he went on to complete pediatric cardiology fellowship at University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Criscuolo specializes in the treatment of congenital or acquired heart disease, heart murmurs, chest pain, syncope, palpitations, arrhythmias, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and dysautonomia. Dr. Criscuolo is primarily based on the Mississippi Gulf Coast with clinic locations in Biloxi and Hattiesburg. He also participates in clinical inpatient services in Jackson several times a year caring for patients in the Batson and Sanderson towers. He is passionate about medical education and was recently named the Associate Program Director for our pediatric cardiology fellowship training program. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys cooking, reading, collecting vinyl records, golf, rooting for the NY Mets and Rangers, and being an amateur barista.
