Biography
Dr. Sherry Colson graduated with a BS in Physical Therapy in 1981,received her DPT in 2009, and her EdD in Higher Education in 2019. Dr. Colson joined the faculty in 2014 following a long career in geriatrics and management. Her current teaching responsibilities include legal and ethical issues in healthcare, Resource Management, Geriatrics, and Amputee Management as well as multiple labs and guest lectures. Dr. Colson is actively involved in the APTA and APTA- Mississippi. Research interest include geriatrics and diversity in physical therapy.
