Biography
Emily Claire is a licensed, certified genetic counselor specializing in pediatric genetics. She earned her Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2026 and previously worked in laboratory genetics as a Clinical Genomic Scientist. Emily Claire is passionate about the intersection of religiosity/spirituality and genetic counseling, advocating for disability communities, and expanding access to genetic services for all Mississippians. Her clinical interests include inpatient services and pediatric-onset hereditary cancer predispositions. Emily Claire is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that recognizes and incorporates the diverse values and experiences that patients and families bring into the each visit.
