Biography
Dr. Dani Choufani, MD is dual-board certified in Neurocritical care and Sleep medicine. Dr. Choufani is currently holds the position of Assistant Professor in Department of Neurology at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He received Medical degree from Lebanese University, Faculty of Medical Science in Lebanon, and completed his internal medicine residency program at Staten Island University Hospital, NY, his sleep medicine fellowship at Thomas Jefferson university Hospital, Philadelphia, PA and his Neurocritical Care fellowship at SUNY Upstate medical University in Syracuse, NY.
He enjoys teaching medical students, and residents and is actively involved in research. He is site principal investigator for NIH sponsored clinical study that focuses on sleep apnea after stroke.
