Biography
Dr. Alyson Stacks Carraway, recently a neuroradiology fellow at UMMC, is an assistant professor of Radiology.
After receiving her B.S. in Biomedical Sciences magna cum laude in 2012 from University of South Alabama, Carraway earned her M.D. in 2017 at UMMC, where she had diagnostic radiology residency training from 2017-2022 and neuroradiology fellowship training from 2022-23. Carraway also recently took the role as the Associate Program Director for the Diagnostic Radiology Residency.
Carraway is an active member of the American Society of Neuroradiology and Radiological Society of North America, among others. Her missions and focus include mentoring and educating medical students, residents and fellows and providing excellent patient care.
She is a mother to one child, Mayson.
