Biography

Dr. Nathan Campbell is an Instructor in the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Dr. Campbell is a member of the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Physiological Society (APS). He has served as ad-hoc member on grant review panels for the American Heart Association. He has served as peer-reveiwer for scientific journals such as the Journal of the American Heart Assocation, Scientific Reports, and the Journal of Reproductive Immunology.
Dr. Campbell has author more than 30 papers on the immune contribution to hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and developmental programming of disease. His research has been funded by the NIH and PhRMA Foundation.
Dr. Campbell's research focuses on investigating the role of the immune system in preeclampsia and offspring risk for cardiovascular disease.
