Biography

Kala Burchfield received a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences from the School of Health Related Professions in May 2016; then in May 2017 received a Master of Science in Magnetic Resonance Imaging in 2017. She worked as a registered MRI technologist at UMMC for seven and a half years prior to moving to education. She joined the School of Health Related Professions (SHRP) Department of Radiologic Sciences in January 2025 as Assistant Professor and MRI Clinical Coordinator.
