Biography
I was born, raised and educated, from elementary school through my doctorate, right here in Jackson, Mississippi. After graduating from physical therapy school in 2012, I began working at a local hospital and remained there for 9+ years. I furthered my career in the LTAC (long term acute care) setting; finally landing in the outpatient pediatric and school-based settings. Practicing pediatric physical therapy was always the goal. I ultimately opened my own outpatient pediatric physical therapy practice in 2019.
Currently, I am an assistant professor in the physical therapy department at the School of Health Related Professions. I live in Brandon, MS with my husband, three children and dog, and in my spare time I enjoy working out and writing poetry.
