The Center of Excellence (COE) will host a webinar at noon Wednesday, Sept. 16, online via Microsoft Teams. The session will explore strategies for building and sustaining rural telehealth programs, including operational, financial and organizational approaches.

This webinar will:

  • Identify key strategies for building and sustaining rural telehealth programs, including operational, financial and organizational approaches.
  • Describe sustainability lessons and best practices from School-Based Telehealth and Tele-Critical Care that can be applied to other rural telehealth programs.

Panelists: Kyle Brewer, administrator, Telehealth; Andrew Wilhelm, director, Pulmonary/Critical Care; Param Narain, financial modeling and telehealth strategy intern (contract); and Christina Wright, director, School-Based Telehealth.

Moderator: Saurabh Chandra, MD, chief telehealth officer.

The COE Webinar Series is a national educational and dissemination platform designed to translate Telehealth Center of Excellence research, implementation experience and emerging innovations into practical knowledge for health care organizations, clinicians, researchers and other stakeholders. Sessions highlight project outcomes, implementation strategies, lessons learned and approaches for developing, evaluating, sustaining and scaling telehealth-enabled models of care.
