Description:

Dr. Edgar R. Meyer, assistant professor of clinical anatomy, will present the Catholic Diocese of Jackson and the Catholic Medical Association, St. Gianna Beretta Molla Student Chapter at UMMC Lunch and Learn, "Parties, Prayer, and Penance: The History of Mardi Gras and Its Secular and Religious Significance," at noon Tuesday, Feb. 17, in N716 (7A), North Wing.

Boxed lunches and water or tea will be provided to the first 25 attendees. All members of the UMMC campus community and the public are welcome to attend.
