The Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at UMMC is happy to announce an ECHO series dedicated to offering clinical collaboration in maternal mental health and substance use disorders. We are partnering with MDs (Obstetrics/Gynecologist, Family, Pediatrics), DOs, NPs, Behavioral Health Providers (Psychologists, LCSW, LPCs), Doulas, Nurse Mid-Wives and Lactation Consultants to work together to take care of our Mamas. On Oct. 25, at noon, Dr. Li Li, an associate professor in Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurobiology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, will present "Perinatal Opioid Use Disorder."
