Shirley Pandolfi, Cultural Competency and Education Manager, will give the Department of Pediatrics virtual presentation, "Diversity and Sensitivity in the Workplace" at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 27, online via WebEx.
Learners should be able to define relevant terminology, recognize how bias may be operating in the workplace, collaborate effectively with direct reports and colleagues, define workplace diversity and cultural sensitivity, and apply strategies and culturally sensitive skills to manage a diverse workforce and to sustain an inclusive environment.
