The School of Dentistry will host its fourth UMMC Dental Mission Week event, including its annual Give Kids a Smile Day and Veterans Day outreach, during the week of February 3-7, 2020.

"Veterans Day" is slated for Wednesday, February 5, while "Give Kids a Smile Day" is scheduled for Friday, February 7. All activities will take place in the School of Dentistry building.

The event raises awareness of issues related to access to dental care for underserved populations in Mississippi. School of Dentistry faculty, staff and students will provide a full week of dental care to these vulnerable populations - an estimated 1,500 adults and children will receive dental treatment and pain relief.
