Coffee Talk with Dr. Lisa Didion

On Jan. 1, Dr. Lisa Didion began her tenure as UMMC chief medical officer. This appointment followed the retirement of Dr. Michael Henderson, who had commendably served as UMMC’s CMO since March 2015.

Under Dr. Henderson’s leadership, the Medical Center made great strides in improving patient safety and clinical quality and I’m excited to see this progress continue and pick up steam under Dr. Didion’s leadership.

I had the opportunity this week to sit down and chat with her about her background, why she transitioned from full-time patient care to this role and what she sees as focus areas now and in the future. I hope you enjoy this edition of VC Notes Coffee Talk.
